REVIEW: Fading Frost by Alicia Rades

Fading Frost
A Crystal Frost Novel #4
Alicia Rades

CRYSTAL FROST has known for a year that she's psychic, but a car accident leaves her sixth sense weaker than ever. When she begins sensing a ghost she can't seem to help, she turns to contacting him through a séance. That only leads to a grave warning. For the first time since discovering what she's capable of, things have become personal. Can she protect her family and friends and save her own life in the process, or will she have to trade her life for theirs?

 Paperback

Kindle

This book is by far my favorite out of all of the Crystal Frost series. The author took this story into a whole new paranormal level and kept me entertained, but also on the edge of my seat throughout the entire time I was turning pages. The characters were phenomenal and the story-line was incredible, unique, and awesome. It made me into a true believer of the Paranormal world. I highly recommend this awesome read to all to enjoy!!

REVIEW: Inferno by Stacey Rourke

Inferno
The Gryphon Series Book 6

With the death of a hero, a dark force has risen. A hellhound is loose on the Rhodes Campus, building its pack with a bloody body count. Any hope for salvation rests in the fiery hands of dashing Irishman, Caleb, with his power over the elements. Fighting to save a dear friend from the internal monster consuming him, Caleb finds the love of his life a target for the vicious attacks. How far will he go to save Celeste from the destiny ravenous to claim her?

Wow....I was in shock, awe, and completely reeled into this story from beginning to end. It was full of suspense and kept me not only on the edge of my seat but turning each page, craving for more. The characters were phenomenal. I love how Caleb and Terin worked together despite their differences. Caleb is cocky and a bit of a wise guy, but he has a caring side too that makes me love this character even more. And of course, I am a sucker for male Irish accents too. The ending is quite a shocker and I an extremely excited to see where this story goes with the turn of events from the ending of this book. The author has yet again brought forth a magical and mystical world that is so intense and completely enticing and one I know will capture the hearts of everyone. I highly recommend this story!! This author once again gets my five book review.

REVIEW: The Highland Curse by Shelby White

The Highland Curse
Paranormal Adventure #2
Shelby White
Release day is December 9, 2016!!

It all started one late night with a Ouija board from a second-hand store.

Now four weeks have passed since the séance Lady Sky and the four friends conducted ridding Jeremy, the malevolent spirit who had been brought back, from this world and the murders he had committed, troubling the town of Arlington Heights.

After a concerning passage in a book Lady Sky had given them Alycia read on casting out spirits and a news story on a murder where a Ouija board was left behind, concerns mount. They quickly realize Jeremy isn’t gone after all, and this time he may have more up his sleeve then they bargained for.

Joining forces again with Lady Sky, they will do what it takes to send Jeremy back to where he came from once and for all and break the Highland Curse.

WOW....This book was amazing. I was completely consumed by this book. The characters are still as awesome and memorable as they were in the first book, but with a new paranormal being to chase. The story-line kept me entertained from beginning to end. The things these characters went through was shocking, yet remarkable. This is a great clean cut middle grade read that can be enjoyed by all ages. The cover of the book depicts well with what the book is about. I fell in love with this cover when I first saw it.

I am very anxious to see what these characters have to go through next and what adventures this author will be taking us on.

REVIEW: The Ouija Board by Shelby White

The Ouija Board
Shelby White

This is a pretty awesome read! I loved how the author made this story come to life. This author has a knack for capturing her readers from beginning and keep us craving for more. The characters were phenomenally well written and the story line was short but the author was still able to bring all the magic into the read without making it boring. I highly recommend this story to all readers to enjoy as much as I did. I am really excited about where this author plans to take us next.

The author provided me with a digital ARC copy of the book for review purposes only. No remuneration was exchanged.

Expected Release Date: April 11th, 2016

Blurb
High school sucks. It doesn’t matter who you ask; jock, cheerleader, computer nerd, or band geek, they will all say the same thing: It’s a nightmare. But Casey is still wondering how she got the short end of the stick. Just a Sophomore at the prestigious Luthos Academy for Magical Beings, Casey already knows more about heartache and fear than any almost-sixteen-year-old should. Orphaned and left to be raised by the Academy, she spends her days training to become a Guardian, but that dream is looking dimmer with every day that passes.Unlike the wand-waving heroines in all her favorite books, Witches in her world don’t cast spells, they are born wielding the power of nature: water, fire, earth, or air; powers Casey never developed. She’ll be lucky if they even allow her to take her final exams.

She is top of her training class, but that doesn’t keep her from being looked down upon by every other being at her school. All Casey wants is to be given a chance, instead she finds the only life she’s ever known targeted by an unfathomable evil. Thrust into the center of an age-old prophecy, a war is coming with Casey at the reins.

Will relying on her hard earned training be enough for her to make it out alive?

E.M. Rinaldi lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her boyfriend, Milz, and their slightly psychotic pup, Boone. By day she is a Registered Radiologic Technologist taking pictures of mangled bones and by night she writes about all the bizarre situations her characters get themselves into while she was away. She is a Second Degree Blackbelt and can’t write a story without at least one fight scene in it. When she’s not writing or trapped at work, E.M. likes to read (obsessively), clear her DVR, and have all night Buffy marathons with her friends, complete with cookies and cinnamon rolls. Her love for writing stems from an early age where she would create stories on an old computer program and force anyone within grabbing distance to read them. Not much has changed; be warned: stay out of grabbing distance.

Evading The Dark is her debut novel and the first of The Cross Chronicles.
